Founder and Principal Susan Hamilton has 20 years of branding experience. After beginning her career as a strategic management consultant in The Boston Consulting Group's consumer practice, Susan's desire for work with social purpose led her to the non-profit arena in Asia, developing Singapore's arts infrastructure. She worked as a journalist, arts administrator and fine artist, ultimately falling in love with branding as a discipline that combined her business and creative interests. Susan has had the privilege of working with and learning from a host of legendary brands, including Barnes & Noble, Bertelsmann, Dove, Lipton, M&M's, Mitsubishi, and Samsung. Since founding her own company 5 years ago, she has focused on building growth brands with positive social purpose, including the College Board, Care.com, the Democratic National Convention. Susan has a passion for helping people take a more active role in managing their health and works actively with a number of brands who share that mission, including Novartis, Aegis Creative, WebMD, Medscape and Epocrates. Susan holds a BA in art history and Italian literature from Dartmouth and an MBA from Harvard.
A custom-built team is assembled for each project, providing just the right mix of outstanding talents. We span disciplines and sometimes geographies, but we are united by excellence and passion. We collaborate closely with our clients, meeting early and often in order to develop the best and broadest set of information and relationships that results in superior deliverables the whole team feels good about. When ongoing strategic and/or creative brand stewardship is desired, we often join the team, working on retainer to implement and expand the brand evolution.
